Skunk Studios contacted us to replace their old static HTML site. They were sick of editing files each time they wanted to add a new game.
Using Ruby On Rails we were able to deliver a site that requires no webmaster. They update all the games and copy themselves when they want to - no HTML or weird editing tools involved - just a web browser.
New games are pulled in from a XML content feed during a weekly automated process.
The site basically runs itself...

Home
The home page features an editor's choice block that is dynamically created based on game attributes set on the admin side. Skunk Studios video game editors may put any game on the site into the rotation at any time.
Revenue from this site is largely banner driven so it was a requirement that banners fit into the content. We designed a solution where content still comes first, yet advertisers are still happy with their banner placement.

All Games List
Because of the dynamic nature of the site a visitor may list all the games and sort them in any order they choose.
This promotes finding a game using criteria that's important to the visitor such as number of downloads or release date.

Game Search
Research has shown that you can't please everyone with one way of accessing information.
Searching for games is just as easy as browsing on this site.
A prominent search box is located on each page.
Searching will return results from games, game categories, and game developers.
Top search terms are visible and clickable so visitors may see the most frequently used searches.

Administer Games
The entire site is based upon the information entered in screens like this.
The save button scrolls with the screen to remain in the same place all the time.
No more hunting for the button when you're done editing!
